The soldier has sacrificed his life for his country in the battle between the Government and a separatist group. The young wife who lives in tears recollects the beautiful memories of her husband. She shares her romantic moments with him. But all her pretty and beautiful days have disappeared like dew in the sunshine. She could not control her pain to see the dead body of her husband. The respectful burial of her husband increases her pain and her future looks dark with no happiness. The whole poem brings out the emptiness and loneliness of the young widow.
